Executing the Joinpoint Program

Once you have set all the parameters in the Joinpoint Session, execute the session by clicking  on the toolbar.   Warning messages regarding the cohort data or session options may be displayed along with messages indicating something that is preventing execution.

If no warning/error messages are generated, a progress window will appear and display the job status as the Joinpoint calculation engine processes the data and generates the output. You can click the Cancel button on the progress window if you would like to halt the calculations before they are complete.

Once the processing is complete, an output window will automatically be displayed. You will need to save this output if you would like to access it again at a later time.

As an alternative to the Execute option, there is the Execute Silent option ( ).   When using the Execute Silent option, no warning messages will be displayed.  Only messages that would prevent execution are shown.
