The Joinpoint session file is saved as part of the output, so you can select Retrieve Session 
from the task bar of an output window to retrieve the session that was used to create the output. Even if that session file wasn't specifically saved, you can still retrieve it from the output. This is a convenient way to see exactly what settings were used to create a particular output file.
