Ola Adeyemi has joined the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a Program Manager in the Surveillance Informatics Branch (SIB). Ola's main project will be the NCI-DOE Pilot 3 Collaboration.
Ola earned his Medical Doctor degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ogun State, Nigeria, a Master of Science (MS) in Emergency Health Services with a specialization in Preventative Medicine and Epidemiology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Medical Service Management from Johns Hopkins University. Before coming to work at the NCI, Ola worked with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) as part of the Consolidated Innovation Center Development and IT Management (CICDIM) Contract to help support innovative healthcare delivery and payment models. He also worked with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on the Patient Safety Organization Privacy Protection Center (PSOPPC) Contract to help support analytics and other patient safety initiatives.
Ola is a fan of all sports, with particular interest in soccer, football, and golf. In his free time Ola enjoys traveling and experiencing different places and cultures. When he is not traveling, Ola enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
