Monique Cropp Puckett joined the Surveillance Research Program (SRP) as a Program Analyst in 2016, after serving as a Program Specialist in the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences since 2014. She conducts analysis activities for projects within the SRP and provides programmatic support for the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program. She coordinates fiscal year plans and resources for various projects within the Program and works on a variety of teams in direct support of the core functions of cancer surveillance.
She began her career at the National Cancer Institute in 2009 as an Extramural Support Assistant in the Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis, where she supported Medical Officers in the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program. Monique holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus, where her coursework included public health and governmental accounting.
