AlphaSim
Breeding-program simulator for plant and animal breeding; original package is superseded by AlphaSimR.
AlphaSim simulates plant and animal breeding programs using genome-level data and user-defined breeding scenarios. The actively maintained successor, AlphaSimR, provides R scripting for stochastic breeding-program simulations to DNA-sequence resolution, including selection, crossing, and genomic-selection study designs.
