The Cohort Tree on the left side of the Main Window is used to select the cohort results to be displayed.
Description
The Cohort Tree is a tree/list display on the left side of the Main Window. It displays all of the cohorts generated for this session. The cohorts for a session are selected in the Selection Tab of the Session Setup Window.
A cohort is comprised of one value from each variable in the data source. For example, if you selected the values Colon and Prostate for Site, and All Races for Race, and Male and Female for Sex, then you would end up with 4 cohorts, which represent all possible combinations of the selected values. The cohorts would be Colon/All Races/Male, Colon/All Races/Female, Prostate/All Races/Male, Prostate/All Races/Female.
You can select cohorts in the Cohort Tree, and the calculation results will be displayed in the tabs of the Main Window. You can only select one cohort at a time for viewing. If you would like to view 2 or more cohorts simultaneously, use the View Multiple Cohorts feature.
