Description
The Age Group Comparison dialog allows you to verify that the Age Groups from your LDP file match those in the data source you selected. If they match, then the checkbox at the bottom should be selected by the user. Pressing the close button will display message indicating which choice has been made. Not selecting the checkbox indicates that they do not match, and the user will need to select either a new data source, or a new LDP file.
Controls
-
Data Source selected label - This displays the file name of the data source file selected on the Inc\Surv Parameters Tab.
-
LDP File selected label - This displays the file name of the LDP file selected on the LDP Tab.
-
Age Groups List - This list displays the list of age groups from the LDP dictionary versus the age groups from the data source. Ideally, each of the lines should match. If they do, then you should select the checkbox at the bottom of the dialog and press Close. If they do not match, then you should unselect the checkbox at the bottom of the dialog and press Close. You will then need to either pick a new data source file, or select a new LDP file. The age groups must match up.
-
The Age Groups from the LDP Dictionary file match the data source checkbox - Checking this control indicates that the age groups from both files match up. This should only be selected in that case. If you select it and they don't match up, then incorrect calculations will occur. For example, if the LDP file has "0 years at prevalence date" and the Expected Age Groups shows "0-4", on the same line, then you should unselect this checkbox because the age groups do not match up.
-
Close button - Pressing this button will close this dialog and return you to your previous Tab.
-
